Enjoy The Blues Fuckers Foundation’s Country Folk Jewel ‘If You Feel Alone’

Except for South African legends Fokofpolisiekar, I can’t think of another band whose name features such a striking use of the F-word. With that said, please welcome Paris-based act The Blues Fuckers Foundation, a rock ‘n’ roll outfit that pulls from all genres to deliver music that’s as raw and rebellious as their moniker.

‘If You Feel Alone’ is a tune the band released at the beginning of last year, and showcases the act’s softer and more intimate side. Drifting on the timeless waves of country folk, the ethereal track envelops the listener in a soothing yet melancholic embrace. Featuring gentle guitar work and a soul-stirring harmonica, it’s a song that keeps the tone earthy and genuine, avoiding unnecessary dramatics.

Echoing the sorrows of lost love and chronicling the poignant journey through the heartbreak of a breakup, ‘If You Feel Alone’ is a tender reminder of the fragility of human connections. At least, that’s what I take from it.

Closely heading towards 100,000 Spotify plays, ‘If You Feel Alone’ is a fine example of The Blues Fuckers Foundation’s ability to effortlessly mix up their sound. They’re the real deal and, if you like what you hear, check out their brand new single ‘Life’ released just yesterday!
