Emergency Break Return With Euphoric Single ‘PYRO’

Hailing from London, Emergency Break exude furious energy and unmatched charisma, and we wouldn’t expect anything less from such a young and talented band. Debuting earlier this year with ‘IT’S OVER’, the group has built a sizeable following, impressing people left and right with a chaotic yet controlled style, a euphoric golden soup of gritty punk and garage tones. The result is music that commands attention, a shock of energy delivered in sonic form.

Now, the group returns with ‘PYRO’, a more nuanced and complex offering, although still flourishing on Emergency Break’s all-out, powerful imprint. Boasting a brighter and more accessible sound than its predecessor, the single feels a tad more friendly, although it’s clear that the British band is not messing around: delving into tradition and obscure references, they manage to release material that feels familiar yet modern and forward-thinking.

Could they be Britain’s next big thing? Certainly so. Having already sold out Camden Assembly earlier this year, Emergency Break also deliver a majestic experience when it comes to live shows. That’s why we’ll try to catch them live as soon as we can!
