‘All I Need’ is the debut single from Emerald Bluffs, a musical project started by Isaac Harris in Illinois in 2020. Using this creative outlet to cope with his mental health struggles, ‘All I Need’ serves as a dedication to Harris’ girlfriend Reed. “She inspired me and showed me I was capable of doing all I set my mind to,” he says. Having never picked up an instrument before, it’s pretty remarkable to realise that this is Emerald Bluff’s first release. Now based in Oregon, Harris had produced one of the sweetest, most genuine, soft-pop tunes that I’ve come across so far this year.
Simplicity is the name of the game with ‘All I Need’, as soft guitar chords and subtle drums provide a calming backdrop to Harris’ gentle vocals. The lyrics are personal, heartfelt, and deeply relatable, making it a song that will undoubtedly appeal to a wide audience.
With plans to release his debut album later this year, and working alongside Wes Luttrell at Wally Opus Records in Indiana, Emerald Bluffs has the world at his feet. We wait with bated breath to hear his next single!
