Elion Melody is an artist who, perhaps, needs no introduction for some. His tunes have hundreds of thousands of plays on Spotify, and the New York City native recently dropped another cracking track entitled ‘The Way That You Are’. Inspired by and created for his best friend’s wedding, it’s one of the most soulful, heartwarming, and richly textured songs I’ve heard all year. To infuse the tune with a genuine and authentic R&B feel, Elion’s engineer skillfully reworked some of the original track stems, culminating in a profoundly intoxicating and euphoric soundscape.
Melody’s journey with music began at a young age. From being the lead vocalist at various church events to showcasing his drumming skills during services, he was immersed in music from the start. It wasn’t until 2020, however, that Elion decided to pursue his calling concretely. I think it’s fair to say, he hasn’t looked back since!
Drawing on inspiration from the likes of Drake, Young Thug, T-Pain, Ty Dolla $ign, and Jamie Foxx to name just a few, Elion Melody has found his sound.
