Busy building their fierce brand of electrifying pop-rock since 2022, Dvrk Romantics have been getting better and better release after release. Constantly balancing between punchy, raucous guitar riffs and more expansive and evocative psych-flavoured tunes, the British duo is in that sense quite eclectic. Their latest effort ‘It’s not my problem (Wild one)’ showcases exactly that, marking a stark difference from the previous single ‘Bella’.
‘It’s not my problem (Wild one)’ is the all-out, high-octane anthem we were all waiting for. Boasting a certain bluesy character as well as a veiled retro flair, the track is charming and confident, wrapping the listeners into an uplifting musical bubble, something pretty valuable these days! Micky Waters and Rachel DiBiaso are the talented humans behind the group, with the latter lending her luscious vocals to the cause.
Speaking about the inspiration behind ‘It’s not my problem (Wild one)’, Dvrk Romantics explain: “For all those times you’ve been confined, abused, made to not feel like you could be you. For all the times you’ve wanted to surpass the norm and be a freak. For all the times you wanted to speak out when you couldn’t.”
