Active since 2019, the pair have been exploring their signature blend of indie guitar tones and wide artificial tones, slowly transitioning towards a sound that feels more authentically electronic, and less indie. The biggest evidence of that is their latest record, a 6-track EP going deeper into sound design realms, somehow connecting to glitchy lands and short stints of techno-flavoured energy.
Known for their exciting live shows, Bruno Muerte takes their artistry seriously, showcasing steady growth and musical prowess. The duo reached a glorious point with ‘Errors’, the above-mentioned EP, offering the listeners an unparalleled sonic journey into eclectic and complex electronica.
‘Phil D’Ophear’ is a direct dive into Aphex Twin-like conceptualism, balanced by more relatable offerings such as the 80s-flavoured ‘Lost Droid’. The dualism between modern and retro is a permanent fixture of the record, overall as eclectic as they come. All of that prompts the question: is there a logic behind all of it?

Describing the motivation behind the ‘Errors’, the pair explains: “One of the basic rules of the universe is that nothing is perfect. Perfection simply doesn’t exist without errors. Philosophers, scientists, mathematicians: everyone tried to find a logic behind errors. Are they systematic? Random?”
