Very few artists have managed to integrate classical formulas into popular culture as seamlessly as Dardust has. Hailing from Italy, the talented composer and producer champions an anthemic, cathartic ethos, layering soothing pianos on top of an array of heart-shaking soundscapes and textures. ‘Pavane Floue’ is the perfect example of it: a stunning slice of pure, unfiltered melancholia, the track delves proudly into sadness, yet it leaves the listeners with a fleeting glimpse of hope, perhaps emerging from the transformative, healing power of music itself.
