Dream-Pop Extraordinaire Pjos Shares Two Spectacular New Singles

Pjos is a one-man, shoegazy, dream-pop project straight out of Gdańsk, Poland. Having previously had the privilege of interviewing the artist behind the music, we’ve been following his musical journey closely, and Pjos now returns with a stellar new tune called ‘Everything Was Taken Away’.

As his third official single, Pjos’ latest offering is a reverb-drenched and deeply immersive track with hints of Mogwai and notes of Slowdive. Laidback, hypnotic, and seriously melty, ‘Everything Was Taken Away’ explores feelings of loss, nostalgia, and resilience, all presented in a dreamy and gooey soundscape that one just sinks into like a comforting haze.

Accompanying ‘Everything Was Taken Away’ is a second single titled ‘But It’s Gonna Be Okay’, a song which emerges from its predecessor’s outro. Haunting and contemplative, the ambient piece contrasts beautifully with the intensity of what came before, all culminating in a cathartic and powerful resolution.

Still a relative newcomer to the scene, Pjos promises listeners a journey through dreamy landscapes that captivate and inspire. So far so good – and we can’t wait to hear what he gets up to next!
