It was just the other day that Ohio-based four-piece Wexford came crashing into my world with their powerful and anthemic single ‘Change Your Mind’. A driving and gritty piece of rock ‘n’ roll brilliance, the tune has already racked up over 11,000 plays on Spotify in just a few weeks, and today I am super stoked to be able to introduce you to ‘Never Give Up the Fight’, the band’s latest single.
Written in the wake of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the anti-war track goes seriously hard. Punky, grungy, and an all-out sonic assault on the senses, ‘Never Give Up the Fight’ is a plea for the right to grow old in peace and equity with our fellow men. A raw and unflinching offering, Wexford hold nothing back for a cause they deeply believe in.
The band has a friend who fought in Ukraine, and they’ve promised to translate the lyrics into Ukrainian and share the song with soldiers on the front line.
