Discover ultrasaturated’s Immersive and Dreamy Tune ‘In The Sun’

ultrasaturated is an Italian-based three-piece act that recently put out their smashing debut EP ‘Universal Hologram’. The EP’s opener is a hypnotic and dreamy tune called ‘In The Sun’, and I haven’t been able to stop listening to it since first putting it on. Fusing dream-pop with elements of post-punk, shoegaze, and early new wave, it’s an ethereal and delicately composed masterpiece. Inspired by the likes of DIIV, Beach Fossils, Turnover, and Black Marble, ultrasaturated has concocted a track and an EP that is an immersive sonic experience, filled with synthy goodness, brooding bass lines, and the graceful vocals of Samuel Zini.

Recorded in a cabin near the Italian Alps, in a mountain village with a population of thirteen people, ‘Universal Hologram’ is an EP inspired by the breathtaking scenery that enveloped the band. Working round the clock, their collective efforts produced five truly remarkable songs that I’ve fallen in love with.

Working alongside Paris-based indie label Model Workers Records, ultrasaturated has made fifty limited edition cassette tapes of ‘Universal Hologram’. How retro is that! If you’d like to be the proud owner of one, head over to the band’s Bandcamp page!
