Discover The Kobras’ Latest Jewel ‘Rabbit Hole’

If you are looking for action-packed, raw and euphoric vibes, you have definitely found them in The Kobras. The London-based outfit has everything you could ever wish for: bold guitar riffs with rough edges, eclectic drum grooves and spacious, anthemic vocals. It all results in a large, massive sound, infusing the group’s character with a certain dramatic and theatrical twist. In fact, there are a lot of retro elements in it, yet it sounds fresh and very modern.

Featuring Dessy Baeva on vocals, Harry Thacker on guitar and Chloe Tayali on bass, The Kobras now return to the spotlight, offering a frankly irresistible slice of eclectic rock stamina. ‘Rabbit Hole’ is bound to completely hypnotise the listener, thanks to its galloping grooves and saloon-like aesthetic, especially when it comes to the witty piano addition. Quite a genius framework, providing the perfect home for Baeva’s fierce and tough vocals.

Describing the lyricism behind ‘Rabbit Hole’, she explains: “Harry and I were a little bit bored and decided to take a tiny bit of mushrooms, which in the end turned out to be a whole crazy trip. Harry was fiddling with the guitar and suddenly under his fingers the main riff of the song appeared. I asked him to keep playing it and tried to explain to him what the feeling of the trip was like, so the first thing that came out of my mouth was “down, down the rabbit hole, what you came for you don’t know”. Pure magic!”.

Notably, The Kobras crafted a trippy and fantastically vivid music video, styled and animated by lead singer Dessy and co-directed by Kat Terek:
