‘Together We Rise’ is undoubtedly one of the most intriguing and original tunes that I’ve heard all year! It’s the latest single from a California-based genre-blending artist known only as Little Brain, and it’s a track that I simply refuse to try and categorise or attach a label to. Blending compelling electronic elements over hard-hitting, edgy, and dark alternative pop, ‘Together We Rise’ is a song that has to be heard to be fully understood. In your face, unflinching, and deeply immersive, it ends before you’re fully aware of what just hit you, and all you want to do is put it on again – a compliment that I don’t throw around lightly.
Intent on being a voice for the voiceless, and someone who is greatly committed to social justice, Little Brain brings forth a message of unity and equality. “‘Together We Rise’ is about breaking free from isolation by uniting with those facing similar struggles,” says the artist. “It’s a recognition of our shared experiences of marginalization…and a celebration of our resilience and strength”.
An exceptional songwriter with the storytelling ability to match, Little Brain produces more than just music. He’s a catalyst for social change in a world that so desperately needs it, and all I hope is that we hear a lot more from him very soon!
