An artist-in-residence at the world-famous Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Ohio, JAMPOP has spent ten years honing, sharpening, and perfecting his skills. As a producer, rapper, and multi-instrumentalist, he uses his years of experience along with a fresh new take on pop music to produce an EP that is wonderfully inventive and eclectic. ‘Margarita’ kicks things off with a chilled and mellowed-out vibe about JAMPOP’s love for mixed drinks (and his significant other). The perfect introduction to the EP!
‘Again Again’ was another tune that instantly stood out to me. Featuring fellow producers and artists Fanaticus and BdotJeff, it’s the perfect example of JAMPOP’s ability to cross genres and even musical timelines with such ease.
‘The JAMPOP EP’ is a six-track album, and I’d love to go into depth about each song. They’re all so different and unique from one another. Unfortunately, this would ruin all the fun you’d get listening to them for the first time! So I won’t. Instead, I’ll put it on once again for myself, and simply urge you to do the same. What a debut EP!
