Discover Doc Breezus’ Smashing EP ‘Doktoberfest’

In October of last year, Oregon-based hip-hop artist and producer Doc Breezus released his second EP in the form of ‘Doktoberfest’. Featuring five original tunes, the EP showcases Doc’s high-quality production, inventive lyricism, and unmatched work ethic and drive. ‘Too Lit’ gets ‘Doktoberfest’ underway, and it’s a heavy-hitting beat that Doc glides along to effortlessly. It’s the perfect setup for the EP. ‘Moonlight’ soon follows and takes a more laidback and chilled-out approach. A hypnotic and mesmerising beat is expertly intertwined with Doc’s emceeing skills, and all you wished was that the track was longer.

‘I Shouldn’t Be Alive’, ‘Me N My Zone’, and ‘Doesn’t Really Matter’ are the three songs that complete the EP. They all have their own feel, vibe, and atmosphere, while still maintaining that “classic Doc Breezus” sound that I’ve become familiar with. Just perfect!

Doc cites the likes of Kanye West, Travis Scott, Eminem, Drake, and Metro Boomin as some of his main musical influences. And when asked about ‘Doktoberfest’, he said that he wanted partying and having fun to be the focus. “These are either drinking songs or songs you can drink to,” says Doc.
