Emerging from Switzerland, Bjørn BARock pursues a rather simple artistry, at least on the surface; feral punk-rock, with tons of punch and energy. A self-reliant songwriter and producer, he is able to shape his music exactly as desired, making the creative process decisively faster and more personal.
Sung in German, ‘Stell mir keine Fragen’ is BARock’s latest effort, a charming nugget of charisma and punk fierceness, navigating at high speed towards relatable lyricism and general empowerment.
Describing the inspiration behind the record, the Swiss talent explains: “I have a strong feeling, and believe that the stories I tell in my songs relate to many people out there in this world. It would be really cool if I could reach out to them – because the world is not as dark as shown in our news and life has a lot to offer.”
