Entirely written and produced by Martin, ‘Green Thai Tea’ has a witty and interesting behind-the-scene; all sounds are sourced from a ‘7Leaves’ cup, sampled and mangled by Dice himself. Coincidentally, the cup contained… Green Thai Tea! The Californian creative builds a banger with virtually nothing, a sign of the great inspiration that blessed him.
Speaking about the record, Martin explains: “I don’t know how I got the sound I got from producing and recording the chorus but I feel that landing on something beyond the usual and having it sound good is a hard feat to come by. It was all the years I put in leading into it, that got me to the sound of Green Thai Tea”.
