Diane Arkenstone Shares Stunning Visuals for ‘When I Fall’

We don’t certainly need to tell you who Diane Arkenstone is. But if we had to, we’d define her as a pioneer of the New Age movement and a nuanced Folk explorer. Boasting a longstanding catalogue and an impressive career, the Californian singer and composer has made it a point to focus on spacious, evocative pieces and melodious, cathartic vocals. Boasting millions of listeners on streaming platforms, Arkenstone’s music output has found thousands of like-minded people all around the world – which is perhaps one of Diane’s greatest achievements.

A remastered version of ‘When I Fall’ is the latest release by the American songstress. In it, Arkenstone explores a nuanced Folk outlook, built on soothing acoustic guitars and elegant, mellow vocals. A series of textures and percussions join the sonic formula later on, achieving the ‘new age’ effect that the project is committed to. Honestly, it’s pure artistic goodness.

‘When I Fall’ ships with a wonderful music video, an intimate rendition of Arkenstone quietly performing the song. Incredibly detailed and hypnotising, the visual aesthetic matches the nuances and vulnerability in Diane’s music. As we are told: “Even the light falls on Arkenstone’s hair, shoulders, and strumming fingers with the gentleness of a caress. Everything about the clip says: come closer, let go of tension, come out of the shadows, and know peace”.
