We have often supported artistic collaboration. While writing personal material alone can be a cathartic process for self-expression, there’s something about teaming up with other creatives, reaching a common goal and a shared vision that might have been impossible to reach otherwise. Cristina Movileanu understood the assignment correctly, joining forces with fellow musicians Tetsu Atsumi and Tyler Nimon, making for a truly global lineup.
‘Moonchild Dreams’ is the result of such a process. In it, Movileanu embarks on a soothing, immersive ballad with a distinctively poignant outlook. Her evocative, vibrant vocals are a perfect match for the slow-moving instrumental, featuring acoustic guitars and a plethora of elegant textures.
