Count The Clock Share Blissful, Ethereal Masterpiece ‘Here Comes The End’

‘Here Comes The End’ is a quintessential match for our publication. I love it deeply: spacious, dreamy, luscious and bucolic, it’s everything I have ever wished for. Furthermore, its expansive quasi-shoegaze character is well balanced by a deeper ethereal quality, a veil of angelic qualities that seems to wrap everything into a cathartic, angelic aura.

In fact, Count The Clock – the American creatives behind it – are pretty adamant about the Folk component in it, manifested by the 3-part harmony beautifully sung by collaborator and singer Leanne. It’s apparently inspired by “English Folk”. It’s a wonderful reference, one that gives a seemingly guitar-powered piece another lease of life, effectively making it hyper-eclectic and supercharging its dreamy character and prominent escapism.

Musician Michael Coe and filmmaker Zach Lorkiewicz are the talented duo behind Count The Clock, a musical entity as well as a committed cinematic, visual endeavour.
