Conflict Choir Share Latest Single ‘The Real Thing

‘The Real Thing’ is an absolute delight to listen to. A nuanced, hard-hitting gem, the record sounds majestic and massive, channelling late 90s rock stylings with modern flair and contemporary production. In fact, it’s a truly stunning record, a feature that makes instantly sense when taking into account the humans behind it.

Going by the stage name of Conflict Choir, the British duo is none other than Ali Clinton and Jack Bowles, both high-profile session musicians with a long history of illustrious musical collaboration. ‘The Real Thing’ continues an artistic journey that started three years ago, expanding it towards wider eclecticism and a rawer, more energetic sonic livery.

Truthfully, Conflict Choir’s lead vocals remind us of something specific, especially in the chorus… could it be… Sting? The Police? Yes, there’s something in common between ‘The Real Thing’ and the British icons! Speaking about the single and their upcoming album, the Birmingham-based pair explain: “Each single has its own unique style and personality and has alternative versions that we routinely release online on our Patreon channel”.
