Collaborations Releases Powerful New Single, ‘Running Out Of Tomorrows’

Collaboration is a very powerful thing. When people come together to create art, they often found a path they could have never discovered by themselves. In essence, they are empowering each other to be their best, transcending their limits and exploring new horizons. We found a fantastic band from Connecticut very keen on that concept. They love collaboration, so much so that they called themselves Collaborations. Now, their peculiarity stands in the fact that the line-up is very flexible, more resembling a collective, a group of like-minded people oscillating in and out of it. There is a constant though, which is band leader Ed Daniels. He makes sure that all members of Collaborations talk the same language, both musically and lyrically.

Following up from last year’s debut album, the project now returns with a brand new offering, ‘Running Out Of Tomorrows’. A passionate cry-out for today’s many inequalities and hypocrisies, the track wants to inspire listeners toward building a better future. They do so by laying out a groovy, charismatic soul-funk backdrop, upon which a wide array of gospel-like male and female vocals deliver their lines with perfect tone and harmonies.

Aided by producer Vic Steffens, Collaborations’ creative process seems to be working, the project recording absolute gems. Of course, managing a big group of musicians is not easy, as head honcho Ed Daniels explains: “It takes structure, creativity and teamwork to get a project or a song done, and you have to create an environment that allows people to experiment and grow in order to achieve that.”
