Getting familiar with Cole Blu was a transformative experience. In an industry where people tend to standardize each other, following trends, cliché and commercial tropes, the American creative seems set on a very unique path, building a personal sonic universe that’s the perfect fit for the project’s complex and enlightened lyricism.
Having debuted only last year, Cole Blu now returns with a debut album, ‘Torso’, containing a majestic tune that we honestly love, ‘Thundering, Blissful’. Describing it using words is not that easy, but we can tell you how it makes us feel. You see, there’s always a magic aspect to being eclectic: Cole Blu seem to have found the right formula to achieve that. Imagine glitchy, leftfield electronica, layered next to fast-paced indie-flavoured guitars, all resting on an industrial drum pattern.
