Clay Joule doesn’t disappoint. Hailing from the US, he’s been featured in our publication a fair bit, always presenting music that flourishes on its lyrical message. You see, he’s a true storyteller, constantly balancing enlightened themes with a charming contemporary flair, making the project’s songs ever-relevant and relatable. What’s more, musically speaking there’s a lot of eclecticism.
‘Keep On’ is Joule’s latest effort, a stunning exploration of human destiny and personal freedom. Developed in collaboration with Truwan Studio, the single balances on elegant and soothing jazz-flavoured settings, championing acoustic piano, polite drums and a stunning horn section. The result is an irresistible and classy jewel, crowned by Clay’s nuanced vocals.
Delving into the lyricism behind the record, Joule explains: “Life is full of opportunities; embrace them with both hands. When we focus on creating life value, we can uncover the true prophets. It’s a beautiful reminder that your destiny is on the way and that what one person perceives as heresy, many would enjoy the freedom.”
