Clay Joule Reflects on the Covid Lockdowns with ‘Realm’

Jeremy Bregman

Clay Joule is a singer/songwriter and producer who’s based in Secaucus, New Jersey. He recently released his brand new single called ‘Realm’, and it’s truly a cinematic masterpiece that you need to hear for yourself. Originally written as a poem inspired by the “white paper movement”, Clay teamed up with fellow composer Tindaro Raffaele to create the anthemic tune. A song that speaks to the disparity and love between people and authority, there’s a Scottish bagpipe that features heavily throughout, serving as a representation of the ruling of the kingdom.

Clay is no stranger to highlighting global issues with his music, and you’ll see that in some of his previous works like ‘O’dream’ for example. What’s important though, is that he’ll also praise “those in charge” when they get it right – something that is very seldom seen or heard. Something also that Clay believes is vital in healing the world.

‘Realm’ is an absolutely beautiful track from a clearly dedicated, talented, and truthful artist. Clay released ten (yes, ten!) singles last year so, if ‘Realm’ tickles your fancy, get stuck into the rest of his music! That’s what we’ll be doing!
