Known for her cosmic, retro-flavoured and dazzling indie-pop character, Canadian outfit Choses Sauvages might be singing in French, but their kaleidoscopic artistry has been conveyed on a global level. It’s hard to stay indifferent to the group’s elegant eclecticism and witty sound design choices, incredibly vivid and hypnotising.
Fans of the band will rejoice at the news of their latest single now being released. Titled ‘Cours toujours’, it delves into dance-punk elements in a surprisingly poppy fashion, nesting playful synths and bright textures over groovy drums and electronic percussions. Floaty, hazy vocals reveal a wealth of mysterious French lyricism, adding to the record’s already maxed-out allure.
‘Cours toujours’ also anticipates an upcoming album, ‘Choses Sauvages III’, expected on March 28th via Audiogram. You can pre-save it here. Choses Sauvages are also about to embark on a UK tour this June.
