We have been following Ceyeo for the past year or so, watching him gain recognition thanks to an eclectic unique style spanning rock, electronica and everything in between. Writing about his previous album ‘Machine Learning’, we proudly declared “Ceyeo’s flexibility is impressive. Not easy to be comfortable with so many genres and style changes, but the talented American artist makes it feel like a breeze”. In fact, the record went on to cumulate a staggering number of streams worldwide, helping Ceyeo to get the recognition he deserves.
Now, the Chicago resident gears up for an upcoming new album, ‘Baby I Care’, expected later this year. ‘Ecstacy’ is the first single to be extracted from the record, showcasing just how much Ceyeo is innovating his own style. Exploring heavier and disco-infused electronica, the track leaves heavy guitar distortion behind, focusing on a sunnier poppy direction.
Written, produced and performed by Ceyeo himself, the track features background vocals from Liliia Kysil and Max Honsinger on guitar. In many ways, ‘Ecstacy’ offers a much-needed reprieve from the more serious material of the project’s first album, providing a perfect soundtrack to the upcoming Valentine’s Day season.
