Casey Austin Allen Shares Evocative Song ‘View of a Lifetime’

Incredibly vibrant and meaningful, ‘View of a Lifetime’ offers a compelling and introspective glimpse into Casey Austin Allen‘s grieving process and personal growth, something that’s also quite inspiring for any keen listeners. Spending time at his late father’s home in the Appalachian region of Northern Carolina, the talented troubadour pens a nostalgic and poignant gem. 

Drenched in Folk and Americana energy, ‘View of a Lifetime’ is a sublime listening experience. Allen is truly talented; a multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter, the American artist manages to craft a vivid, anthemic jewel with cathartic melodies and an eclectic arrangement. Austin Allen’s elegant and powerful vocals are the perfect match for such stunning material. Speaking about the inspiration behind the song, he explains: “I wanted to write a song that sounded like how these Appalachian mountains and towns made me feel. They’ve allowed me to feel pain and grief in a healthy way, while offering me indescribable beauty and a sense of wisdom in return.”
