‘Drive Alone’ is the latest release from the young Utah-based singer/songwriter Carson Ferris. Serving as the follow-up to 2021’s ‘Can’t Be Without You’, ‘Drive Alone’ is an upbeat pop banger that is ridiculously catchy and infectious. Another aspect of the tune that stands out right away is the superb production quality and, at such a young age, Ferris already has a rock-solid team behind him.
The song can be seen as a bridge between older and newer parts of the musician’s musical journey, as he seeks to forge his own path and listen to his heart. “‘Drive Alone’ is about making hard decisions and having lots of people telling you that you should do this or that,” says Ferris. “You just have to do what you know is best for you.”
With a love for San Francisco-based giants Journey, and finding influence from the likes of OneRepublic, Ed Sheeran, and Alec Benjamin, Carson Ferris truly has the world at his feet. He is clearly a natural and gifted artist and, with plans to release many more singles throughout the year, undoubtedly one to look out for!
