Boundless Brothers Return with New Album ‘Love & Monsters’

There’s a peculiar and certainly poignant story behind ‘Love & Monsters’. The latest album by Cornish indie rock outfit Boundless Brothers, the record is steeped in personal experiences and tales of a life lived, a wider exploration of human nature and the many ways relationships inform our existence. Above all, determination plays a pivotal role in it, allowing the British talents to fulfil their musical mission to its maximum potential.

Packed with eleven relatable gems, ‘Love & Monsters’ flourishes on guitar-powered ballads and evocative anthems, overall being quite poppy in its livery. You see, behind the whole “guitar band” dimension of the project, Boundless Brothers’ lead vocals are incredibly dynamic and evocative, really capturing the listeners’ attention. In fact, their songwriting sometimes reminds us of American group Hoobastank – granted, they were on a heavier, punchier sound.

Boundless Brothers’ artistry is even more meaningful when considering the long journey of development and hardship they had to endure. As they explain: “As teenagers, the founding members, brothers Sam and Seb, found themselves living hand to mouth in a tent on the streets. Inspired by local buskers, they somehow got themselves instruments, taught themselves to play, and formed a band”.
