We are proud to present to you the brand new single from Colorado-based singer/songwriter and storyteller Benton Crane. ‘Until the Colors Fade’ will only officially be released on Friday the 27th of this month, but we’ve been fortunate enough to get a sneak preview of the tune. Clocking in at over six minutes, the track starts off with a stirring yet delicate acoustic guitar and the rich, magical vocals of Crane. He slowly and effortlessly adds warm and vibrant layers to the gentle song, just like a painter adding depth and colour to a canvas. It’s truly beautiful.
Lyrically, Crane sends out a message of hope and support to those who are feeling mentally overwhelmed or struggling with their mental health in general. It’s a reminder to take the time one needs to unplug, and just be. “I hope the song provides my listeners with a soft pallet to rest their weary heads for some momentary relief,” says the musician.
‘Until the Colors Fade’ was produced by Crane and mastered by Alex Johnston (Robbie Williams, Damon Albarn, Rudimental). It’s one of the most emotive and moving tunes that I’ve heard in a while and, with plans to release one single per month this year, there’s plenty more to come!
