Beebee and the Bluebirds Share Fierce Rock Anthem ‘The World of the Witch’

Having recently released a fierce and punchy single, ‘The World of the Witch’, Icelandic outfit Beebee and the Bluebirds proudly display their charismatic and fierce sonic formula. Steeped in traditional rock’n’roll and vintage 70s energy, the group can liken themselves to classic icons such as Led Zeppelin, but also to modern projects like Greta Van Fleet.

Pairing fuzzy and slick guitars with an evocative organ and powerful drums, ‘The World of the Witch’ strongly benefits from head honcho Brynhildur Oddsdóttir’s anthemic vocals and stunning guitar solos, truly supercharging the band’s powerful and vibrant sound. They have amassed a following in Iceland and internationally too: not a surprise, seeing how precise and high-level their records are.

Speaking about the inspiration behind the record, Beebee and the Bluebirds explain: “The song was inspired by Iron Maiden and also about rising up from your pain and using it as fuel. Also, it is an anthem for women who have shared the same experience and have really good intuition.”
