Writing from an extremely self-aware perspective, she welcomes the listeners into the darkest corners of her consciousness, taking on board Estonian producer LAZY as her worthy co-captain.
Somehow, she manages to grab soul-shaking fragments of sonic chaos, training them into devoted pieces of fuzzy hyperpop goodness. Speaking about the inspiration behind the single, the British talent explains: “This is a song I’ve been wanting to write for a long time. It’s about the effect I have on people whilst staying oblivious to their feelings, in turn making me feel like a psychopath. It’s sometimes difficult coming to terms with who you are in a more negative way.”
