BARock Returns with Full Album  ‘Sturm aufs Paradies’

We recently featured BARock, proudly writing about ‘Stell mir keine Fragen’, a punchy and sleazy rock banger with a crazy amount of energy. Now, we are lucky enough to witness his latest album, ‘Sturm aufs Paradies’ a record that works wonders in showcasing the nuanced and complex artistry embodied so well by the Swiss talent. While many might know the project for its all-out, chaotic rock singles, the album clearly illustrates the mellower side of the project, with tracks such as ‘Meine kleine, grosse Welt’ and the title track itself offering a reflective and slower sonic outlook.

Featuring eight nuggets of joy (including a bonus piece), ‘Sturm aufs Paradies’ marks a watershed moment for BARock, allowing him to take a step up in the industry, a move that’s consistent with the eclectic direction he seems to be taking through a parallel project,  MaUr-Music, oriented towards more experimental artistry.

Gearing up for future live shows, the Swiss creative seems determined to pursue music with honesty and authenticity, and overall that’s what we appreciate about the project. Bjorn – the human behind the hero – is simply expressing himself, sharing carefully crafted music with the world. We are confident many will relate to it.
