Bad Bubble Shares Dreamy EP ‘Am I a Good Man?’

There’s quite an interesting ethos behind ‘Am I a Good Man?’. Performed entirely by Bad Bubble, the record tries to be as authentic as possible, refraining from using any sort of technological help. By declaring “I do not use software or take shortcuts of any kind. What you hear are my fingers on the keys. All instruments are played organically by myself”, the Chicago-based creative shares quite a bold statement, one that showcases his willingness to pursue pure, unfiltered artistry.

A nuanced and electronic record, ‘Am I a Good Man?’ features four dreamy and ethereal tracks, often with a healthy amount of leftfield textures on them. Such a prominent and vibrant sound design is made possible by Bad Bubble’s unique musical character. It’s even more evident in his vocals, treated in an otherworldly goo which makes them distant and rather angelic.

A multi-instrumentalist by heart and talented composer, the American musician pens a record that’s quirky and unique – perhaps just like his overall creative flair.
