Known by day as Matt Carmody, the multi-disciplinary talent teams up with a stellar team of musicians and producers, allowing ‘Let’s Try Again’ to bloom into an absolute jewel, a slice of evocative poignancy and unmatched kindness. Acting as the project’s debut single, the track finds its sonic identity in vintage guitar tones, soul-flavoured keys and ballad-like drums.
Speaking about the many influences behind Attom Darcy Blvd, Matt explains: “It’s a soulful homage to the timeless sounds of Etta James and Otis Redding, capturing the essence of the Stax Records era.”
