Asha Destroys Dating Apps in Relatable Gem ‘Hard Shit’

One of a kind. That’s how we’d describe ‘Hard Shit’. A playful yet meaningful and deep song, the record is the latest effort by Los Angeles singer, songwriter and producer Asha. Active for the past few years, the talented creative has been slowly but surely building a compelling artistic universe, also thanks to witty sound design choices, strong pop prowess and a high degree of introspective work. Built on a fast-paced, catchy arrangement, ‘Hard Shit’ flourishes on acoustic guitars and bouncy drums, later joined by more nuanced and gritty elements.

It all works in function of the lyrics: the piece is entirely based on a single, strong and relatable idea: the modern struggle with dating apps, and the way they shape the social landscape. We are confident the song will connect with many listeners out there, especially after hearing the hard truth delivered by Asha with fierceness and charisma.

As she explains: “dating is awful, especially due to the inventions of dating apps and how the culture has changed. There are just too many options for everyone now, so no one wants to stick around long enough to have something real.”
