Ari Joshua is a familiar name around these parts. We’ve proudly featured the Seattle-based guitarist, composer, and producer extensively over the last few months, and the prolific artist is back once again with a new single called ‘Rare Groove’. In typical Ari fashion, he teams up with a stellar cast of musicians to craft his new tune, including well-known saxophonist Skerik and self-taught virtuoso Delvon Lamarr on the Hammond organ.
Recorded entirely on vintage equipment, ‘Rare Groove’ is yet another funky and utterly mesmerizing instrumental track. Fat tones and rich melodies are the order of the day, and the irresistible number transports listeners to a bygone era of groove and soul that is just perfect. Full of passion and life, it’s a song that needs no words to speak volumes, and before you know it, four minutes have flown by.
On a mission to release twenty-four tunes this year, Ari Joshua is a true musical maestro. His uncanny ability to keep the funk alive and thriving is a testament to his dedication as an artist, and as always, we can’t wait to hear what he conjures up next!
