Arden Alexa Shares Bubbly Gem ‘Petty Bitch’

If you are looking for fiery and euphoric pop, you just found it. ‘Petty Bitch’ is everything its title suggests, a bubbly, tongue-in-cheek personal anthem aimed at standing up for yourself and believing in your own power. Built on contemporary punk-pop stylings, the record is a slice of teenage bubbliness, dealing with the contrasting feelings that early adulthood often evokes.

Reminding us about the likes of Avril Lavigne and Hilary Duff, ‘Petty Bitch’ champions gritty guitars while remaining completely relatable and poppy, making the single available to a larger audience. The record is penned by Arden Alexa, upcoming songstress with a knack for wholesome and meaningful material, always drenched in personal experience and real-life shenanigans. Based out of San Francisco, Alexa has been championing music since a young age, finally debuting on the wider international landscape in 2021.

Having amassed sizeable streaming figures on Spotify alone, Alexa looks set for a rather successful career, and based on what we just heard, it’s not hard to believe it. Speaking about ‘Petty Bitch’, she explains: “After a dramatic friend breakup left me feeling both sad and angry, I needed an outlet to help me get over the grief of losing my childhood best friend. My solution came in the form of this song.”
