Antonio Sky Shares Electro-Pop Anthem ‘Stutter’

Built on charming electro-pop tones, ‘Stutter’ embodies a fierce, emotional and relatable character, helping it become a modern relationship anthem. We are confident it will connect to a wide audience, and frankly, we wouldn’t be surprised to see the single levitate to higher charts. Antonio Sky pens what’s a majestic and glorious pop gem, a feature not easily achievable. He seems to have it all: songwriting sensibility, personal experience to draw from, and a heightened sense of style and aesthetic, making sure that ‘Stutter’ always sound fresh and edgy.

Sonically, we get hints of Dua Lipa and Charlie XCX, although vocally Sky does remind us of Sam Smith, among others. The Philadelphia-based creative champions an evocative and luscious vocal tone, which can be modulated between intimate sections and more pumping, all-out choruses.

‘Stutter’ is the perfect evidence for that, allowing Antonio to dominate the sonic picture with charisma and intention. Lyrically, the song reflects on a clandestine relationship, as Sky explains: “The inspiration behind ‘Stutter’ lies in the universal struggle to balance desire and discretion.”
