In it, the South African creative leaves behind crepuscular tones and poignant melodies, instead searching for a punchier and more uplifting modern production, anthemic choruses and playful, vibrant lyricism. Describing the experience of falling in love, and the joy that comes with seeing a relationship blooming into something more serious, ‘Tattooed To My Heart’ is a masterclass in pop prowess, also showcasing Anacy’s wide musical eclecticism.
