Alla Igityan Offers Up Latest Feel-Good Folk Ditty ‘Better’

In 2019, Armenian-born singer/songwriter Alla Igityan decided to step out of her comfort zone. Packing up her bags and moving to Berlin, the talented songstress immersed herself in a vibrant and diverse musical scene, and her songs unquestionably benefitted. Recent tunes like ‘Games’ and ‘Picture’ have garnered a healthy amount of Spotify plays, and today I’m honoured to introduce you to ‘Better’, Alla’s bright and intoxicating new single.

“With this feel-good folk song, I aimed to put a fresh and happy spin on a breakup,” says the artist. “I believe it will be a great remedy for anyone who’s spent a lot of time trying to get over someone”

I can attest to the track’s remedial powers firsthand. There’s a sense of hope and renewal that shines through its melody – and a cathartic emotional release in Alla’s spellbinding vocals.

Refreshingly unadorned, and relying on its purity and authenticity to penetrate, ‘Better’ proves that less is often more, and that genius doesn’t have to come wrapped in bells and whistles to resonate with listeners.

Fast becoming one of my favourite new tunes, ‘Better’ sets the benchmark for Alla Igityan’s future releases. She’s set the bar high, but I’m certain she will rise to the challenge!
