It’s been a busy couple of years for Alex Kate. Sharing her debut EP only last year, she looks motivated to make the best out of 2023, by sharing a plethora of wonderfully bright and majestic pop records. Following up from ‘Sober’, – which we covered here – the Norwich-based songstress returns with ‘Not A Clue’, a dynamic and poignant jewel exploring all the doubts and angsts around falling in love.
Delving into Kate’s personal experience, the song takes us on a journey through a friendship on the brink of becoming something more – with Alex wondering whether she’s feeling actual love. In other words, she ‘doesn’t have a clue’. It’s all drenched in modern electronic pop, perfectly framing Kate’s evocative and luscious vocals.
Another stunning record by the talented British artist, firmly on her way to stardom. She’s also rumoured to be particularly hypnotising in live shows.
