Not a surprise: hailing from New York, the young songstress crafts vibrant and hypnotising material, drenched in eclectic pop matter while exploring tales of human experience and emotional turmoil.
‘i heard she’s crazy’ is Lopez’s latest EP, a collection of six tracks with distinctive introspection and honey-like melodies, showcasing all of the different facets of the young American creative. From mellow ballads such as ‘belvedere’, to slices of crepuscular electronica (‘bloodstream’), passing through orchestral anthems (‘to the boys i grew up with’).
