GrayBeat’s ‘Concrete Labyrinth’ is Quirky and Immersive

Let’s get a little experimental and out there shall we? Introducing ‘Concrete Labyrinth’, the brand new single from Minneapolis-based indie-electronic producer GrayBeat. The project is the brainchild of Robin Sedivy, and his latest tune is a quirky and synthy piece that I guarantee is unlike anything you’ve heard previously. Featuring a hypnotising blend of EDM, dubstep, and synth-pop, the production and arrangement of ‘Concrete Labyrinth’ is absolutely top-notch. It’s big, spacious, and atmospheric. Add GrayBeat’s thick and vibrant vocals to the equation, and what you get is an intensely immersive sonic experience.

“The song explores our perception of loss,” says Robin. In it, he speaks with someone who’s gradually experiencing the loss of someone dear, due to their stubborn incapacity to see beyond their chosen societal roles. It’s powerful stuff I must say…and the artist proves himself a compelling storyteller as well as an outstanding songwriter.

GrayBeat unleashed his debut album ‘Elemental Rhapsody’ back in 2020, and since then has released a steady stream of singles. With a background in electronica, rock, jazz, hip-hop, and African music, it’s rather hard to predict what he’ll come up with next. What we do know, however, is that it’ll be fresh and exciting!
