Will Spencer Marks New Beginning with Elegant Pop Jewel ‘The Real World’

There’s something inherently unique in Will Spencer’s music. Perhaps is the relatability of his lyricism, often connecting wider philosophical themes to everyday experiences. Perhaps, it is Spencer’s vocals, so dynamic and light, yet capable of layering into a cathartic, hypnotising sea of harmonies. Whetever you might think of his artistic output, there’s no doubt that the British talent is on to something quite special. Fresh from being awarded the ‘Record & Release’ grant by UK charity Help Musician, Spencer is setting off on a journey to release one single every month for a year.

Marking a potential new beginning for the Windsor resident, that journey starts now, with Will unveiling ‘The Real World’, the first of the 12 tracks to be released. In it, the listener will be able to connect and rejoice in Spencer’s kaleidoscopic and poignant material, sharing a certain theatrical ethos too. The keen listener will also notice a definite shift from the project’s previous material. There’s a distinctive pop element to it, although declined towards classic formulas and elegant arrangements.

Will Spencer seems to be talking to a wider audience this time around. After all, his story of artistic triumph after a few years of struggles with mental health is bound to inspire many of us out there.
