A familiar name on our blog, Wild Horse seem to be rapidly growing into a full-fledged national act. The British indie outfit has been showcasing their class and quality for a few years, finding a formula that really overcharges their sonic identities only recently, allowing them to reach a wider audience. 2023 started strong for the Brighton talents: ‘Angles’ and ‘Cougar’ showcased Wild Horse’s more eclectic and mellow side, now counterpointed by ‘Tangled’, a more energetic and upbeat effort, although still maintaining the synth-powered quality so proudly championed by the group.
Lyrically, ‘Tangled’ focuses on relationship territories, highlighting the struggles and challenges that often make maintaining a long-distance relationship extremely hard. We are confident many listeners out there will relate to it.
Fresh from an appearance at The Great Escape Festival in Brighton, Wild Horse are not slowing down anytime soon. We’ll be here supporting.
