The need for artistic expression has been keeping her company her whole life, and it’s now taking solid shape in a fierce and charming artistic project, so greatly showcased by Sis PS’ latest effort, ‘I Am Done’. In it, the listener will become familiar with the German creative’s inner eclecticism.
If ‘I Am Done’ configures itself as an indie rock-powered banger, quite evocative and emotional, predecessors ‘Touch The Sun’ and ‘Time’ focus instead on poppier, electronic material. This signals the dynamism enjoyed by Sis PS, together with her ability to adapt to different settings. Lyrically, the song is a passionate anthem in favour of taking control of your life, letting negative traits go and embracing a more balanced state of mind. As Sis PS explains: “Broken, demoralized, wounded.’ That’s how I wrote ‘I Am Done’ in 2019. Lost again in self-imposed dependency, ‘I’ve had enough’ of letting negative people dictate my mind. Love & peace, that’s all I ever wanted. In the song I want to forget & love again!”
