Nathan Gittens is a London-based singer/songwriter and funk/pop musician who performs under the moniker of Naytiive. Just a few days ago, he unleashed his brand new single called ‘SummerSoul’, and it’s honestly unlike anything I’ve heard so far this year. High-octane, energetic, and beautifully vibrant, it’s a tune that showcases just what Naytiive is all about! It’s experimental, in-your-face, and unequivocally fresh.
“Around the end of May heading into June, the sun starts to shine on us in the UK,” says the artist. “Our minds start to change and an overwhelming sense of happiness fills the country”. What Naytiive has attempted to do on ‘SummerSoul’, is bottle up all of that positive energy, and allow it to live on forever. He’s succeeded and then some! I can guarantee you that the infectious track is one that’s unlikely to leave your head anytime soon
Drawing on influence from the likes of Bruno Mars, Jamiroquai, Parcels, and the late Prince, Naytiive has conjured up a soulful and spirited sound all of his own.
