‘Anna’ is the brand new and highly anticipated second single from acclaimed New York City-based indie singer/songwriter Ilan Bell. His debut release ‘Through It All’ is nearing 50,000 plays on Spotify, and ‘Anna’ has every chance of matching and even surpassing that. A tune about finding someone, losing them, and everything in between, ‘Anna’ is a deeply personal and intimate song for Bell. “I think there’s something really honest about writing for someone who’s not there,” he says. “Because, at that point, nothing goes unsaid”. Ilan is a storyteller and a wordsmith of the highest order, and the proof of that is in the pudding!
As for the track’s soundscape, Bell worked alongside Grammy-award-winning producer Paul Falcone (Jay-Z, Beyonce, Tom Odell) to create the luscious and heartfelt tune. Driving drums and a less-is-more acoustic guitar riff meet up with Ilan’s delicate and passionate vocals to produce what is honestly one of the most beautiful songs that I’ve heard all year.
