Its musical force is pretty groundbreaking, delivering eerie and haunting vibes drenched in experimental and gritty electronica. Crowning it all, Synthia Looper’s vocals create a stark contrast with their musical framework, exuding a bright, almost bucolic tone. Like if an angel had fallen to hell, and would then share nostalgia and pain through music, looking for resolution and healing.

The project’s first EP collects all previously released singles, and it’s a mesmerising journey into Looper’s mind-bending artistic universe. Introduced by ’Sentient’, the record jumps into gritty and intense territories, delivering distorted, noisy synthesisers and icy drum machines. ‘Brilliant Minds’ takes a more melodic approach, channelling choral-like solemnity, greatly contrasting with Synthia’s celestial vocals. ‘The Ascent’ closes the EP with glitchy and arpeggiated electronica.
